Remembering why...

Well, here I am, only just crawled out from under my holiday stone and it already feels like I haven't been away!  And so here we are, back with the hustle bustle for 2011.  

As befits the time of year, it feels like lots of exciting plans are afoot but just before all that I wanted to take a short look over my shoulder.

When I gave up full-time, securely paid employment for the craziness of freelancing I started to watch Nic Askew's regular videos.  I'm guessing that Nic set off on his own way at about the same time as I did and his Soulbiographies have always had a special resonance for me.  

Anyway, as I look out from my office over the snow dusted fields I know how lucky I am and how good the last few years have been...

And, mostly because I don't need to do this any more....
