Back with the Generators, this time in London's King's Cross, where we were taking a few hours to work on the Global Generation photography project.
This time the subject was 'portraits' and, naturally, I couldn't not get involved!
Here is Anissa, herself a talented photographer, 'art-directing' me through one of a series of images. In contrast to the rural pictures the group made when they were away on camp, Anissa needed us to shoot something urban, tough, her hands on the wire, the shallow depth of field...
When we looked through the images on the back of the camera, this was one of Anissa's clear favourites - and so here it is with a high contrast finish to add a little contemporary drama.
We didn't really discuss the story here or the reason why the image should be a favourite. Rational selection isn't particularly the aim here. But maybe this image is to do with the reason Global Generation exists and how leaders like Anissa are deciding to change the landscape...
Or maybe that's just my stuff...
