Something completely different?

After my last post, the irony of today's view is not lost on me. 

I'm in Doha, a city where the skyline is an experience of awe and amazement. Compared to London and my KX wanderings, there is a completely different vibe at work here. This is a city where any reference to human scale feels incidental; these buildings are a demonstration of economic power and capability.

After year upon year growth of 10%, the latest figures suggest that Doha will expand by 25% this year. It is a phenomenal increase and the ability of modern social systems to grow fast while remaining integrated and functional is about to be tested.
